Oh my! Drenched in 24k Gold, these Vermeil necklaces really add richness to your day. Vermeil is an overlay process (and a legit legal standard! Go figure!) with gold over other metals. In this case, each piece is hand forged by me in Fine Silver before the 24k is over-layed. You're actually getting double fine metals here. I'm using thicker than the legal standard for vermeil and guarantee the piece for life. Dry Creek Turquoise is known for its light blue, almost white coloring with golden matrix. It's also quite hard and takes a beautiful shine.
A: Beautiful, contemporary open style double ring. On one side is light blue Dry Creek Turquoise measuring approximately 1/2" by 3/8" with bi color matrix. The other side is a double hammered bar measuring 5/8" down the length of the finger and 3/16" wide. The entire ring is thicker than standard 24k Vermeil. I love the asymmetry of this ring and the small space between the duality. It's a great reminder to take a beat between things and recenter and ground before moving onto the next task. This ring is a size 7 1/2 (ish) and could be adjusted down to a 6.
B: Beautiful, contemporary open style double ring. On one side is classic almost white Dry Creek Turquoise with cocoa matrix measuring approximately 3/8" around The other side is a brushed ball measuring just about 1/4" with soft, satin texture. The entire ring is thicker than standard 24k Vermeil. I love the asymmetry of this ring and the small space between the duality. It's a great reminder to take a beat between things and recenter and ground before moving onto the next task. This ring is just over 7 1/2 and can be sized down to a 6 1/2.
C: Why do earrings always have to match? Does the left side of our face match the right side? Really? Is there something gained by perfection 24 hours a day? I sure hope not. These earrings relate, but don't match and are an Unlikely Pair. One side measures 3/16" wide by 7/16" with two short stacked hammered bits with a satin textured ball. The second side is a clear, nearly white Dry Creek Turquoise cabochon measuring 3/8" with the setting.
D: Another not quite matched pair of earrings, but these are pretty close! I like to call these an Almost Perfect Pair. Both earrings measure just about 1/2" around including the settings.
E: These studs are pretty closely matched. They measure about 3/4" long, with the classic light blue, almost white Dry Creek Turquoise cabs measuring just about 5/16th in their setting.
As ever, the radiant texture on my bezels reminds us to seek a higher level of energy in our lives. Shedding negative and low energy allows us to resonate with Joy, Happiness, and Hope and encourages us to seek alignment in our hearts and minds.
All pieces are handcrafted by me, in my Arizona studio using low environmentally impacting process. The Fine Silver and 24k Vermeil are nickel free and great for sensitive skin. One more quick point is the ear nuts on the Stud Earrings. They are a fancy, heavyweight ear nut and won't let you down while you are doing the Salsa or eating salsa and playing uno.
